Private Health Funds:

I am a recognised provider for the following health funds, and you may be eligible for rebates on counselling sessions, depending on your cover. The rebate amount varies by plan. For claim details, please contact your health fund directly.

  • To claim a Medicare rebate of $85.20, you’ll need a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or psychiatrist.

    1. Book a longer appointment with your GP/psychiatrist to create a Mental Health Plan.

    2. Your GP/psychiatrist will assess if you're eligible for the plan.

    3. If eligible, ask for a referral to ‘Kim Golda’.

    4. Bring your referral, Mental Health Plan, and Medicare card to your first appointment.

    With a Mental Health Plan, you're entitled to up to 10 counselling sessions per year. The first 6 sessions will be followed by a report to your GP/psychiatrist. If needed, you can access another 4 sessions.

Appointment Cancellation Policy

We understand that things can come up, and you may need to cancel your appointment. Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a $70 cancellation fee for missed or late cancellations.

This helps us offer appointments to other clients who need them.
